COVID-19 – Sinai House

Please find below our detailed Covid-19 response to help our guests enjoy their stay. If you would like to know more about any of the information below or have any concerns about an upcoming or future stay please don't hesitate to contact us.

Before your stay
During the easing of Covid-19 lockdown we will be offering a reduced number of rooms, we have reduced our overall capacity by 15%.
We encourage all guests staying at Sinai House to bring a supply of 70% alcohol hand sanitiser and any protective equipment they wish to use.
The payment card used to secure your booking will be automatically charged 24 hours before your check in.

On arrival
Each time a guest enters the house we will request they use the hand sanitiser located near the front door, we also have these located in the breakfast room & lounge.
If check in coincides with another guest checking in we will ask one of the guests to wait in the reception room.
Our usual greeting is to shake hands however, during these times we will discourage any contact.
If assistance is required to carry your luggage to your room please leave items by your car and we will collect these for you.

We have a strict cleaning policy at Sinai House, this has been increased to ensure we have cleaned all contact-surfaces prior to guests arriving.
The room will be sprayed with an anti-viral disinfectant several hours before arrival.
We normally provide a tray of non-disposable amenities; pens, notepad & sewing kit etc. These items will not be readily available in the rooms however, can be provided if requested.
Bathroom amenities are disinfected after each stay.
Hospitality boxes will be fully replaced after each stay.
Housekeeping of a room will not be done for stays of less than 4 days. Extra supplies can be requested by guests.
Our hands will be washed & sanitised before entering & leaving each room during housekeeping.
During nice weather we ask for bedroom windows to be opened to allow for air to circulate.
Decorative cushions & throws have been removed from all rooms. Blankets can be found in the wardrobes, if used please leave out.
Irons & ironing boards will be disinfected after each use.

Dining spaces will be spaced 2m apart in line with current guidelines and we will be holding 2 breakfast sittings for a maximum of 8 people each day.
Fresh fruit which would normally be self-service will now be available to pre-order.
Confitures will be individually served.
We will ask guests to keep the same box of condiments during their stay which will be labelled.
We will keep as many windows open as is comfortable and possible.

The bar will not be in use at this time.
You will be able to order drinks to enjoy whilst sitting in the guest lounge or on the balcony.
Ice & milk will be available on request rather than self service.

Guest lounge
Magazines, books & board games will not be available at this time.

Checking out
Any final charges will be given to guests on the evening before check out and charged to the payment card you booked with on the morning of your departure.
